The 8 Guided Meditations You Need This Spooky Season
It's spooky season! A little something about me: I love going to haunted houses but I can’t watch horror movies. I will legitimately have nightmares for 4 months straight. So, yep, I tap out of those. BUT in the spirit of Scorpio season, Halloween, and all things October…here are 8 guided meditations intended to soothe your fears (the rational and the irrational) and support you through your scariest phases.

1 - Guided Meditation for Fear (11-Minutes)
Not the fear of ghosts…although, valid. But the fear of failure. The fear of loss. The fear of inadequacy, or the fear of stagnation. However fear has been showing up in your life as of late, let this mantra-based medi carry you, moving you through to the other side.
2 - Meditation for Closure (13-Minutes)
It ended for a reason. Don’t open those gates. Besides, your peace is sometimes more important than understanding why something happened the way it did. Whether it was an ending gone wrong, a loss, or a conscious detachment - give yourself a chance to wrap your mind (and heart) around it. Easing your nervous system back into its natural state of balance.
3 - Receiving Support from Loved Ones Past (17-Minutes)
I really do believe in communication and signs from a realm beyond our own. One that exists in a space beyond our comprehension. When my dad passed, there were times when I swear I could feel his presence. Not in a creepy way, but rather in a way that reminded me of how universally supported I am. Not everyone is into this, but if you are, I created this meditation a while back after my own personal loss. It has provided me with a lot of healing and if you stay open to receiving, you never know what message you may get.
4 - Dissolving Nervousness Meditation (10-Minutes)
A gentle practice to dissolve the knot in your stomach. Tending to the physical symptoms that show up with modern forms of nervousness such as anxiety over waiting for a reply, sweating about sending an email that expresses a boundary, racing thoughts over something that may or may not happen, etc. No need to keep (metaphorically) looking over your shoulder. You are safe.
5 - Releasing Stressful Thoughts (20-Minutes)
…or images that are stuck in your brain after watching aforementioned freaky movies whose titles shall not be named. The negative, the heavy, the dark…let your breath and this meditation wash it all away as you bring in the light.
6 - Trust the Timing of Your Life (10-Minutes)
Because sometimes thinking about the timing of our lives can be scary. I’m speaking from experience here. Allow yourself to reel it back in, cultivating faith that it’ll all work out in perfect timing, and find presence in the phase that you’re in.
7 - Candle Gazing (13-Minutes)

I mean, this one speaks for itself. Like when you wake up from a bad dream or think the jacket hanging in your closet has taken the form of a vampire. A good one, like Edward Cullen. But still, we don't want him in our room. Let’s get you back into a sweet, deep sleep, shall we?
